Need help with GameRE?

My results say 'No matches found'

This can happen when the game recommendation engine (GameRE) does not recognize the title that you have entered. Make sure that the title is spelled correctly and fully.

If the game is in a series, make sure to include the correct version or numeral. For example, 'Final Fantasy 7' will not return any results, while 'Final Fantasy VII' will. GameRE will attempt to convert digits to the correct numerals if no result is found, but this is not foolproof.

If the title is correct, it is possible that the game you have entered is unknown to GameRE. This is more likely when you are using the title of a mobile game. (It's very hard to keep track off all the new mobile games coming out.)

The game title I entered was incorrectly matched

This can happen when there are different games with similar titles. Make sure that the game title is spelled correctly and fully. For example 'Mario' will return 'Super Mario World', if you want the original NES game you will need to enter 'Super Mario Bros.'

If the game is in a series, make sure to include the correct version or numeral. For example, 'Final Fantasy 7' is actually 'Final Fantasy VII'. GameRE will attempt to convert digits to the correct numerals if no result is found, but this is not foolproof. (It will correctly convert 'Final Fantasy 7' to 'Final Fantasy VII')

If the name of the game is the same as another game, then one may be selected. In some cases GameRE will allow you to select from a list of possible choices.

Pressing the 'Learn More' button results in 'No game description found'

Not all games have a detailed description and in-depth information written for them. This mainly occurs for mobile games and older games.
